Automatic Protection Against Dangerous Voltage
The main purpose of the 2E ADVAP is continuous monitoring of the mains voltage. If the voltage drops below the set minimum or exceeds the specified upper limit, the relay automatically stops supplying power to the connected device. After the mains parameters return to normal, power is restored automatically, taking into account the defined delay. This operating principle helps protect equipment not only from sudden voltage fluctuations but also from prolonged exposure to potentially dangerous voltage levels.
Adjustable Trip Limits
One of the key features of the 2E ADVAP is the ability to set the protection parameters. The lower cut-off limit can be set within the range of 150–210 V, while the upper limit can be set from 230–280 V. This makes it easy to adapt the relay operation to the characteristics of specific equipment and the condition of the mains. The factory settings provide a lower limit of 170 V and an upper limit of 270 V. The device is ready to operate with the preset parameters, while they can be adjusted if required.
Digital Display and Convenient Control
A digital display is provided for monitoring the parameters, while adjustment is performed using the buttons on the housing. This design makes it possible to monitor operating values and change the protection limits without additional equipment.
In addition to the upper and lower cut-off limits, the power-on delay time can also be adjusted. The factory setting is 10 s. The delay prevents power from being supplied to the connected equipment immediately after the voltage returns to normal, which is especially important when the mains supply is unstable.
Hysteresis for Stable Operation
The 2E ADVAP features 10 V protection hysteresis. After the relay is triggered, power is not restored immediately when the voltage formally returns within the set limit; the additional 10 V deviation is also taken into account.
For example, this algorithm helps prevent repeated power-off and power-on cycles when the voltage fluctuates directly around the set level. As a result, the relay operates more stably, while the connected equipment is not subjected to unnecessary repeated power switching.
Load up to 3,680 W
The relay supports a maximum current of 16 A and a load power of up to 3,680 W. This provides compatibility with most typical household electrical appliances within the specified operating limits. The rated power supply parameters are 230 V ~ 50 Hz, corresponding to standard operating conditions for household electrical equipment.
Protection for Different Categories of Household Appliances
The 2E ADVAP is suitable for use with equipment for which significant voltage deviations can be critical. The relay provides an additional level of protection for refrigerators, TVs, washing machines and other household appliances and electronic equipment. The ability to adjust the trip limits and power-on delay makes it possible to more precisely adapt the protection algorithm to the requirements of the specific connected device.
Operation Across a Wide Temperature Range
The permissible operating temperature of the 2E ADVAP ranges from -10 to +50 °C. This expands the device's operating possibilities under different temperature conditions, provided that other requirements specified in the manual are observed.
